My new home

My new home.

Random thoughts:

Ever gotten rug burn? Sucks like heck to get it. Kids, don't try it at home.
I hope it doesn't scar. I have enough from biking and moquito bites.

Little update:

Yeah, so not much has happened lately.  I'm a bit anxious about med school interviews.  I really hope that I get at least one.  I will be sooooo happy.  I don't care where it is.  I just want to move on with my life already. I feel like I haven't progressed in any way during the past year.  Sure I learned about how to tip toe around my boss, make sure that she stays happy, got rid of my fear of biking, learned ancient techniques that I'll prolly never use in the future, and probably a bunch more.  But over the past year I haven't been in touch with myself. That's probably cuz I've isolated myself from everyone and everything, trying keep LA with me.

I think it's time for me to explore Boston and see everything that it has to offer. So many events happen every week and I'm oblivious to all of them. My coworker from China knows much more about Boston than I do. The only reason I know about certain events is because she tells me about them! Bah.

Yeah, it's time to explore ad enjoy. Life is too short to hang on to old memories. I have to free myself and move foward.

Got cash? Not me...

Is it wrong that I am already counting down to my last day of work in this lab, even though I still have about eight or nine months left?

Bleh...I need a part time job to pay off my med school bills.  Isn't ironic that I already have med school debt and I'm not even in one yet?

For my peeps that want money, check out Trader Joes.  They have a position for assistant manager or something. You only need a bachelor's degree, some restaurant or service experience, and need to able to motivate people.  45-60K per year!!!!

Ms. Ragasa,

You have successfully submitted your AMCAS application to the 2007
entering class.  Your application will be ready for review once AMCAS
receives all of your official transcripts.  When your application is
ready for review, AMCAS will complete its processing as quickly as
possible, but during our busy season, we often require up to six weeks
to process your application.

Thank you for using AMCAS.

SIX WEEKS?!?!  Are you kidding me?  Everyone will be having interviews in six weeks! Oh well, at least I got it in.  Whoohoo!  PAR-TAY!
